01Your account

Use an email address that’s yours, and keep access to it safe: anyone who can read your email can sign in as you. One account is for one person.

02Lists and invites

You’re responsible for what you put on your lists. Only invite people who’d expect to hear from you, and only enter email addresses you’re allowed to share with us.

03Lumio doesn’t sell gifts

Lumio Gifts helps people agree who’s buying what. We don’t sell anything, take payments or hold money; chip-ins are a way to coordinate, and no money moves through Lumio. Prices, stock and delivery estimates come from the people who add them and may be out of date. Anything you buy, you buy from the store, on its terms.

04The surprise

We hide claims from a list’s owner and co-owners until the Reveal. We can’t stop guests from telling them.

05What’s not allowed

  • Anything unlawful, hateful, harassing or misleading, or content you don’t have the right to share.
  • Spam, or inviting people who haven’t agreed to hear from you.
  • Pretending to be someone else, or getting into lists you weren’t invited to.
  • Scraping, overloading or interfering with Lumio, or getting around its limits.

06Your content

What you add stays yours. You let us store it and show it to the people you share it with, only to run Lumio Gifts. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

07Other websites

Store links go to websites we don’t run. We’re not responsible for them, or for what you buy there.

08Changes, and ending

Lumio Gifts may change as we improve it, and parts of it may be unavailable at times. You can stop using it whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we’ll tell you why where we can. If we change these terms, we’ll tell you before the change takes effect.

09Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, Lumio Gifts is provided as it is, and we’re not liable for indirect loss, or for a gift that’s late, wrong or bought twice. [Confirm the liability cap and wording with a lawyer.]

10The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of [New South Wales, Australia]. [Confirm.]
